Griffin Wrestlers Out of NCAA East Regional

The Seton Hill Wrestlers competed in the NCAA Division II Super Region I (formerly the East Region) and finished 13th , ahead of American International College and St. Andrews Presbyterian College at Mercyhurst. Josh Testa, Dallas Evans, Logan Downes and Nick Padezan all finished in the top 8. Nick Padezan went 2-1 but injury defaulted to 6th place after his semi-final match. Padezan is the first Seton Hill Wrestler to place top 6 in the Super Region I. The other three wrestlers all lost their wrestleback quarterfinal matches. Josh Testa fell 5-0 at 125 pounds, Dallas Evans lost 8-2 at 141 pounds and Logan Downes fell 10-4 at 174 pounds. Evans and Downes went 2-2 for the weekend while Josh Testa went 1-2; Nick Nichols also went 1-2 but did not finish in the top 8. The regionals finish the season for the Griffins.
