Ronnie Tetreault has collected all the dust from that Kansas wind any one human being could possibly want, so he’s coming home.

And American International College has got him.

Tetreault, who as an athlete at Ludlow High School turned every disappointment into a test of character, and then passed every test, has signed a National Letter of Intent to attend American International College and continue in intercollegiate wrestling career with the Yellow Jackets.

The 2008 Western Massachusetts, state and New England 152-pound champion spent his first post-high school year at Colby Community College in Colby, Kansas and this spring finished in third place in the Division I Junior College National Championships to earn All-American status at 165 pounds.

Tetreault, who graduated from Ludlow with three Western Mass. 152-pound titles and the record for career victories (165) by a Division I wrestler. He was named Outstanding Wrestler at the WM and state meets his senior year, and was named 2008 Massachusetts Wrestler of the Year by the National Wrestling Coaches Association.
