Dreger and Shadrich Named Academic All-OAC

(AUSTINTOWN, OH)–Mount Union College junior Sean Dreger (Alliance/Alliance) and sophomore Kevin Shadrich (Parma/Parma) were both named Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference.

Dreger finished the season with a 7-6 record wrestling in the 149 weight class. Sean also placed fourth in the OAC tournament. Off the mat, he is a mathematics major with a 3.84 grade point average.

Shadrich wrestled at the 141 weight class and finished a 16-12 record this season. He also posted with an 8th place finish at the Petrofes Invitational. In the classroom, Shadrich maintains a 3.84 grade point average
The award winners are selected by the OAC faculty athletic representatives. To be eligible, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.25 gpa, be a starter or key reserve and be in at least his second year of participation in the sport.
