HLG WRESTLING SIGNS HAMBRICK

 

Hannibal, MO - The Hannibal-LaGrange College Wrestling program is pleased to have signed Jobi Hambrick from Lexington, MO. Hambrick graduated from Lexington High School in May of 2009.

Hambrick has an overall high school record of 113-47. He received numerous athletic honors during his high school career, including: 4-time state qualifier, 3-time state medalist, state rankings of 5th in 2007 at 152lbs, 5th in 2008 at 152lbs, and 2nd in 2009 at 160lbs.

“Jobi Hambrick as a wrestler has the aggressiveness and strength that most college coaches want to see in their freshmen,” said HLG Assistant Wrestling Coach Ian Northcott. “Jobi’s good attitude and work ethic will be a big asset to a young Trojan Wrestling team. He will be wrestling at 174 lbs. for the Trojans.”

Hambrick will be majoring in elementary education at HLG.

Hambrick is the son of Michelle Hufford.

HLG is a Division I NAIA (National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics) school and a member of the American Midwest Conference.
