College signing: Austin Sanders

Recent Pepperell graduate Austin Sanders has signed a letter of intent to wrestle at the University of the Cumberlands (Ky.)

Sanders was a four-year lettermen for the Dragons and qualified for state his junior and senior year. He finished fourth in the area in the 160-pound weight class as a junior and second in the area in the 189-pound weight class as a senior.

Sanders also played football at Pepperell where he was a tight end and defensive end and earned RN-T All-Area honorable mention honors as a senior.

Sanders graduated with honors in May and had an A-average all four years of high school.
