Middie wrestler commits to Notre Dame College
MIDDLETOWN — Middletown High School graduate Andrew Borgstrom recently signed with Notre Dame College, an NAIA school.
Borgstrom, Middletown’s wrestling all-time wins leader (138), placed fifth in the Division I state tournament this past season. He will have an opportunity to start as a freshman for the Falcons, who placed fifth in the nation a year ago.
Notre Dame’s schedule is very demanding with opponents including top Division I and II, highlighted Ohio State and Kent State.
