Wilcox joins Delaware Valley College wrestling staff
Delaware Valley College wrestler Mike Wilcox (Buena Regional), the 2009 NCAA Division III national champion, will stay on with the Doylestown, Pa., school this winter as an assistant wrestling coach.
Wilcox, who completed his senior season last year, is finishing up at Delaware Valley for a degree in criminal justice. He won the Division III crown in the 184-pound division in March in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He was also named the tournament’s Most Outstanding Wrestler, the first Delaware Valley wrestler to receive the award.
Wilcox finished with a 65-5 at Delaware Valley after transferring from Gloucester Community College. He was an All-American and a national runner-up in his first year with the Aggies (2007-2008).
