Merritt soars for Huskies
Sophomore is undefeated for the Huskies this season
While everybody will be driving back to the SCSU campus after a nice long Thanksgiving break, sophomore Tad Merritt will be flying his plane back to campus from Canby, Minn.
“I am an Aviation major,†Merritt said. “I have my pilot’s license and it is pretty easy to fly when you have your own plane.â€
Merritt is on the SCSU wrestling team and wrestles at the 165-pound mark.
“I love wrestling,†Merritt said. “I will wrestle with anybody. I love winning and wrestling can be applied to life lessons if you just take a look. Everything gets easier once you have to go through a wrestling season.â€
Merritt went to Canby High School where he was a two-time State Champion and had a career mark of 176-32.
