Penn lands in state talent

 

Pittsburgh Central Catholic state runner-up Lorenzo Thomas informed The Open Mat that he has given his verbal commitment to Rob Eiter’s Penn Quakers.

Thomas, our # 11 Top Prospect at 157 made waves last year in beating two nationally ranked opponents in Joel Smith and Mark Hartenstine. He becomes Penn’s second commitment for the class of 2011 joining C.J. Cobb (149) a state placer from Williamstown, New Jersey.
