UFC 127: Pearson beats Fisher, Gustafsson taps Te Huna, Ring gets nod over Fukuda

Ross Pearson and Alexander Gustafsson left little in doubt, while Nick Ring might have gotten a gift at UFC 127 in Sydney.
The fights took place Sunday afternoon in Australia and Saturday evening in North America.
Pearson (12-4) took a hard-fought unanimous decision over Spencer Fisher (24-7), Gustafsson (11-1) scored a first-round rear-naked-choke submission of home favorite James Te Huna (12-5), and Ring (11-0) scored a controversial unanimous decision over Japan’s Riki Fukuda (17-5).
