Former High School Wrestler Stresses Importance Of Sports For Students
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — It’s 1998. A young man named Andrew McCrary is wearing a gray pullover and walking the school halls.
Back then, he was a senior at Terry Parker High School. Now he’s donning the hallways of Ed White High School, where he is a special education teacher and wrestling coach.
McCrary’s legs don’t work like most other people’s legs because he was born with cerebral palsy. Despite his disability, McCrary wrestled for Parker’s team for the four years he was there.
