Cadet World Team Member, Dalton Brady, Commits to ASU
The Arizona State Sun Devils placed 6th at NCAA’s last year. A big factor in that was 125lb NCAA Champion Anthony Robles.
While Robles has since graduated, the Sun Devils wasted no time securing a lead-off batter of the future.
Cadet World Team Member, Dalton Brady, gave a verbal commitment to the Sun Devils on Wednesday. Dalton is currently a Jr. in high school, having won two state titles in Arizona. As a Fr. he captured a crown for Queen’s Creek, followed by a title for Chandler HS.
This spring, Dalton, the #1-ranked 113lber in the country in TOM’s latest rankings, bested all comers at the Fila Cadet World Team Trials, winning a bracket over notable names such as #3-Nathan Tomasello (OH), #7-Phil Laux (IA), and #9-Joey McKenna (NJ).
In the Cadet World Championships, Brady placed 5th after winning his first three bouts. He defeated representatives from the Ukraine, Poland, and Kazakhstan, before dropping a bout in the semi’s to the eventual champion from Russia.
Dalton will spend his final two years of high school eligibility at the USA Wrestling training facility in Colorado Springs, CO, before beginning his collegiate career at ASU.

He didn’t wrestle at Queen Creek HS. He wrestled as a freshman and sophomore for Chandler HS and won state both years there.
