ODU Adds Michigan Top Prospect
The Old Dominion recruiting effort continues to build steam. However quiet prior to this week, the Monarchs, whose Head Coach, Steve Martin, is renown for his hustle on the recruiting trail, picked up their second Top Prospect in four days.
On Thursday, they picked up Jack Dechow (IL).
Sunday, #8-Kevin Beazley (184), of Detroit Central Catholic (MI), informed TheOpenMat, that he also gave verbal commitment to Old Dominion.
A state runner-up, Beazley has experienced success in many of the country’s top competitions, and in all styles. He was a Fargo Runner-Up this summer in Greco-Roman. In the spring, he finished as a Fila All-American in both styles, following a runner-up finish at FloNationals.
Beazley bolsters the Monarchs 184lb corps, where Sr. Joe Budi will graduate from this year.
The announcement gives ODU two Top 100 wrestlers for the Class of 2012
